Status: proposed, not final. These scores come from the SSVI file CMS published with the FY2027 Hospice Wage Index proposed rule (CMS-1851-P, April 2026). CMS is explicit that the SSVI is not a finding of fraud, waste, or abuse — it flags claims patterns that may warrant additional oversight.
Ohio has 162 Medicare hospices with a FY2025 SSVI score (of 167 in the CMS file). The state median is 7 of 16, and 3.1% of the state's scored hospices land in the national worst decile (SSVI 11+). Names below are masked — the CCN is shown, and any score can be verified in the free SSVI lookup tool.
